The Young Woman
Many young girls fear their first visit to the gynecologist. Although quite normal, this fear is unfounded.
Depending upon physical development, the first visit to the gynecologist should take place between 15 and 16 years of age.
At this time the first Pap smear is also made. Of course you are welcome to visit us earlier:
- should you need advise
- should you have pains in the lower abdomen or strong PMS
- should no signs of physical development show until age 12
- should no period occur until age 15
- should you want information about contraception
The first talk takes place in pleasant surroundings - because your comfort and your confidence are important to us.
There are many other possibilities of contraception, apart from condoms and the pill.
